Taking a Break

Sorry, I have no photos for this post...I am using my son's computer to do this post because my computer is sick, so I can't access my pictures.

I won't be around for awhile...my dad passed away a few hours ago. Right now, I'm just too sad to think...so I'll be back soon.

Happy 4th of July

I hope everyone had a wonderful 4th of July.


We spent a few days at our cabin....our kids came up for the 4th and we had a great day! It was so fun having the family all together.

Grandma's Lamp

One of my favorite, and most prized possessions is my grandma's lamp.

I have so many fond childhood memories of grandma and her home.....

...climbing the apple tree on the side of the house and eating granny smith's.....

....Sunday dinners in her dining room.....butterscotch candies in the candy dish.....

.....playing in her cool and unusual basement.....

....her pretty pink livingroom and bedroom.....I think my grandma is where I get my love of pink....

.....and playing with her perfume bottles and jewelry. Maybe I got my love for all things pretty, pink, and frilly from grandma.

We're taking off this morning....heading to our cabin until Monday. I hope you all have a wonderful week!

Booty Break

Today, I haven't been feeling well so I really needed some pink. And since I've pretty much spent the day on my booty....I thought, 'how about some pink chairs?'

Ahhhhh, a vacation chair.

I know, this isn't a chair, but it's sooo pretty.

I didn't do anything exciting to post about today....just cleaning.....and trying to do some reorganizing in my studio.
